Building blocks are the foundation of toys for children.

Small children from 1 year and above build towers & knock them down again,they fill pots with them & empty them again . . .

From 3 years on when imaginative play begins, they use them as cars,hammers, clothes iron and as animals. They build houses and surrounding countryside. Building blocks are therefore an important guide through childhood. (For about 10 years). Each one of our building blocks is separately sanded by hand (except building blocks 10180 & 10190). They do not have any sharp edges or corners. As they are not varnished they do not easily fall apart when building.
